Cookies and local storage
The public Braided website currently uses a small amount of browser storage for preferences and restricted-platform sessions. It does not currently use advertising or audience-analytics cookies.

1. Public website storage
Theme preference
Local storage: theme
Remembers whether you selected the light or dark visitor theme.
Until cleared
Local storage is held in your browser and is not a cookie. You can clear it through your browser settings. If it is removed, Braided will use your current browser colour preference until you choose another theme.
2. Restricted-platform cookies
If you are invited to the closed platform and sign in, Braided uses essential first-party authentication cookies or equivalent session storage supplied through Supabase. These maintain the signed-in session, support security controls, and apply the session duration you choose where that option is available.
3. What we do not currently use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site behavioural tracking cookies.
- No public audience-analytics cookies.
Hosting, email, and form services may keep server-side delivery and security logs. Those records are not necessarily cookies and are explained in the Website Privacy Notice.
4. Your choices and future changes
Browser controls can clear local storage and block or delete cookies. Blocking an essential authentication cookie will prevent restricted sign-in from working, but will not prevent you from reading the public site.
We will update this notice and introduce an appropriate choice mechanism before adding non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar tracking technologies.
